About the role

Join Good Shepherd Australia New Zealand (GSANZ) in a newly created leadership role in Family Violence and Recovery Platforms. Reporting to the Executive General Manager (EGM) Ecosystem Enablement and as a key senior leader of the organisation, you will bring their deep sector expertise to deliver on GSANZ's bold 2023–2027 Strategy in this 3 year appointment.

About the role

Join Good Shepherd Australia New Zealand (GSANZ) in a newly created leadership role in Family Violence and Recovery Platforms. Reporting to the Executive General Manager (EGM) Ecosystem Enablement and as a key senior leader of the organisation, you will bring their deep sector expertise to deliver on GSANZ's bold 2023–2027 Strategy in this 3 year appointment.

Located at any of our GSANZ Offices (Melbourne, Sydney, Adelaide, Brisbane), you will oversee the development, innovation, and ongoing delivery of national programs within the Family Violence and Recovery Platform. You will activate new and amplify existing place-based ecosystems in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams across Service Navigation and Support, Client Services, Good Shepherd Institute and within Ecosystem Enablement.

Leveraging the strength of Good Shepherd's family and domestic violence services and front-line innovations, the role will drive the design and development of new service partnerships and alliances within the family and domestic violence sector, government, corporate, and community organisations.

What You'll Do


* Lead national strategy and service delivery for Family Violence & Recovery Platforms
* Design and deliver national family violence and recovery interventions leveraging collaboration with cross-functional teams
* Build and sustain strategic partnerships with government, corporate and community sectors
* Provide family violence and recovery expertise and insights to inform the future design and development of GSANZ's integrated place-based, ecological model
* Champion innovation that addresses intergenerational disadvantage
* Lead high-performing multidisciplinary teams across multiple programs and locations
* Represent Good Shepherd in national forums and sector engagement initiatives

About You
* Hold tertiary qualifications in a relevant field (e.g. social work, psychology, or related disciple)
* 5+ years in senior leadership roles, ideally in complex, integrated service environments
* Experience working with or within government, corporate, or social sector partnerships
* Innovative thinker with strong data, policy and ecosystem understanding
* Demonstrated ability to work with cross functional teams and subject matter experts to achieve aligned objectives.
* Strong people leader with demonstrated experience navigating change and complexity

Key Selection Criteria
* Proven strategic leadership experience in family violence and recovery service delivery
* Strong track record of designing and scaling complex services and partnerships
* Deep knowledge of financial capability ecosystems and emerging sector trends
* Strong commercial and strategic acumen, including budget management and reporting
* Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills across diverse sectors
* Comprehensive understanding of regulatory requirements for service delivery, and sound knowledge of family violence sector policy
* Values-led, collaborative and purpose-driven approach to leadership
