In this role, you will provide vital inventory and logistics management support to the PAC (Planning & Analysis Centre) Manager, optimising the utilisation of physical storage capacity across our networks.You will perform detailed analyses of current and future storage volumes related to our Explosive Ordnance (EO) Services contracts, ensuring efficient supply chain operations and compliance with licensing requirements.Working from our Orchard Hills site, on Darug land, your role purpose is to:Conduct network-wide assessments of EO inventory storage requirementsManage and monitor intra & inter warehouse transfersAnalyse and profile both current and future storage capacityAssure and ensure compliance with licensing requirementsDevelop and maintain dashboards and reports to provide visibility into Storage status and constraints - including management of external factors such as construction and impacts of weather.Communicate and collaborate with fellow PAC team members, internal teams, and broader stakeholders to resolve storage capacity related challengesAnalyse the data to identify and prioritise issues and root causes, then provide recommendations for improvement that will optimise the storage networkLiaise with Defence customers, contractors, and depot staff to maintain required storage capacityEnsure compliance with safety standards while promoting effective teamworkYOUR EXPERIENCEDiploma or higher in Logistics/Inventory Management, Data Analytics, or equivalent experienceProven experience with commercial inventory management systemsStrong analytical skills with experience in data visualisation toolsExcellent organisational, communication, and problem-solving abilitiesKnowledge of Defence EO supply chains or inventory systems is advantageousWE ENCOURAGE YOU TO APPLYAfter you have applied, you will receive an email acknowledging your application.
