Nepean Hospital is a teaching hospital that provides tertiary referral services in emergency care, coronary care, diagnostics, gynaecology, paediatric, neonatal intensive care/ICU, maternity, mental health, rehabilitation, and surgery. The Nepean Campus has recently experienced tremendous growth and aims to support communities within and outside of Sydney's western suburbs, providing world-class clinical facilities, services, and care.
Responsibilities
This weekend role covers respiratory referrals across the hospital's medical and surgical wards as well as the emergency department, working each Saturday and Sunday from 8:00am to 4:30pm. You will deliver high‐quality physiotherapy services to an assigned caseload and ensure safe, effective and patient‐centred care.
What you will bring
* Degree in Physiotherapy and National Physiotherapy Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Authority (AHPRA)
* Demonstrated ability to provide high quality clinical services across a broad range of clinical areas
* Demonstrated effective written and verbal communication skills
* Demonstrated effective time management skills
* Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team
* Demonstrated commitment to professional development and knowledge of quality improvement and evidence‐based practice
* Current Driver's Licence and willingness to use for work purpose travel
