Breast Cancer Care WA is seeking a creative, hands-on Communications & Design Executive to produce high-quality visual and written content that supports our services, fundraising campaigns and community impact.
Working closely with the General Manager, Fundraising & Marketing and across Marketing, Fundraising and Services, this role brings campaigns, client stories and service information to life through thoughtful design, engaging content and consistent brand expression across digital, print and multimedia channels. The role also acts as the organisation's website custodian, maintaining and optimising content, design and user experience across the site.
This is a delivery-focused role suited to a confident designer and content creator who enjoys variety, ownership and purpose-driven work.
Key responsibilities
* Design and deliver campaign content across digital, video and print
* Create graphics, short videos, animations and multimedia assets
* Support empathy-led storytelling and campaign copywriting
* Produce branded collateral including brochures, social assets, presentations and event materials
* Maintain brand consistency, templates and the digital asset library
* Act as the primary owner of the organisation's website, managing content, design assets, landing pages and updates
* Support ecommerce, donation and event registration functionality
* Apply SEO/SEM best practice to optimise digital performance
* Design and support stakeholder documents including proposals, reports and executive communications
About you
* Advanced skills in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)
* Strong graphic design and layout skills across digital and print
* Confident copywriting with a strong grasp of tone of voice
* Experience managing brand assets and style guides
* Website design experience and working knowledge of CMS platforms (e.g. WordPress)
* Video editing or animation experience (e.g. Premiere Pro, After Effects, Canva Pro)
* Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines
* Collaborative, organised and comfortable working to briefs
Desirable:
Experience in the not-for-profit or health sector, and familiarity with ecommerce or donation platforms.
