The Role
We are seeking a dedicated Disability Support Worker to join our Wyong team, working a minimum of 30 hours per fortnight. You will assist a group of clients with intellectual disabilities who live together in a shared home. You will support their daily activities, engage in creative and sensory activities, cooking, community involvement, and help them achieve greater independence and joy in daily life.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver active support aligned with each client’s goals and support plans
- Assist with daily personal care tasks (e.g., toileting, showering, dressing)
- Use safe manual handling techniques in accordance with individual plans
- Facilitate community access and transport using Unisson vehicles or public transport
- Build trusted relationships with clients, families and external stakeholders
- Maintain accurate documentation, reports and records
- Work collaboratively within a close-knit team
- Respond appropriately to incidents in line with Unisson and NDIS guidelines
Who We're Looking For
- Willing to work sleepover, active night, weekend, and public holiday shifts
- Hold a valid NSW Driver’s Licence (P2/full) and are confident driving Unisson vehicles
- Energetic, compassionate, and emotionally resilient
- Experienced in disability support (preferred)
- Qualified with Cert III/IV in Disability (desirable)

Required Qualifications & Conditions
- NSW Driver’s Licence (P2/Full)
- First Aid Certificate
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Working With Children Check (if required for the role)
