**About the role**:
An exciting opportunity exists for a motivated **Commercial Manager** in the Project Services team to **undertake **pre-contracts, contract delivery and project performance across a broad range of projects within the Australian business. The role will work closely with the other Commercial resource, as well as with the operations, bid and delivery teams, to deliver sound and practical commercial advice. The role supports the business commercial processes, through pursuit/bid preparation and development, and negotiation of contractual agreements with clients, partners and sub-consultants.
**What you'll do?**
- Analysis of claims, variations, invoices including contractual entitlement;
- Preparation and review of commercial correspondence;
- Preparation and management of sub-contractor / sub-consultant agreement, including project governance and approvals both internally and with project partners;
- Analysis of project data including timesheets, actuals to date, forecasts, working with stakeholders to resolve errors or anomalies;
- Production of project dashboards, including input review and verification, and analysis to identify trends and areas of concern; and
- Support to PM and internal governance, including interactions with WSP divisions to ensure compliance;
- Knowledge of pre-contracts desirable but not mandatory.
**About you**:
- Degree level qualification(s);
- Minimum 5 + years' experience in project-based environments;
- Strong base of contract administration and / or contract legal experience;
- work with project and proposal managers to managers opportunity and risk across the range of projects;
- Sound time management and organisational skills, confident prioritising workload and managing competing deadlines;
- Positive attitude and flexibility towards undertaking a changing variety of tasks;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to work effectively in both small and large team environments.
