About the Role
Key responsibilities include:
* Assisting in the planning and delivery of projects through effective supervision and development of office staff, field staff, and subcontractors
* Providing supervisory services for construction, maintenance, and upgrade works delivered by the organisation
* Undertaking high-quality condition assessments and estimation services to support cost‐effective project outcomes
* Preparing accurate estimates, quotations, tenders, project trade packages, material lists, and construction programs
* Coordinating and delivering condition assessment services, including building inspections and surveys
* Collecting samples of suspected asbestos‐containing materials for laboratory testing in accordance with safety requirements
* Maintaining a healthy and safe work environment and ensuring compliance with WHS legislation and departmental policies
* Undertaking on‐site WHS inspections, including plant and equipment checks
* Ensuring all job documentation includes appropriate risk assessments and safe work method statements
* Participating in and facilitating WHS audits under the direction of the Principal WHS Adviser
* Promoting WHS awareness and best practice among staff and contractors in collaboration with Regional WHS Advisors and WHS Managers
