MP Fitness & Sport Performance is a specialised training studio based in Essendon, Melbourne. With over a decade serving the local community, we deliver evidence‐based personal training and performance coaching grounded in movement quality, biomechanics, and strength development.
We offer tailored one‐on‐one and small‐group coaching centred on movement efficiency, structured progression, and long‐term athletic development. As an official HYROX Affiliate Club, we also provide hybrid conditioning opportunities for clients who want to expand their performance capacity through HYROX‐style training.
Our studio is built on Sports Science foundations, personalised coaching, and a supportive, education‐focused environment where both clients and coaches can grow, develop, and achieve meaningful results.
Role Description
This is a contractor role at our Essendon studio, with full‐time and part‐time options available.
The Strength & Conditioning Coach will be responsible for delivering high‐quality, technically accurate coaching with a strong foundation in biomechanics, physiology, and evidence‐based training methods. Daily tasks include coaching structured S&C sessions, supporting athlete assessments and screening, contributing to periodised programming, monitoring progress and adaptation, and educating clients on movement technique and training fundamentals.
You will also have opportunities to be involved in HYROX‐style hybrid conditioning as part of our expanding HYROX Affiliate Club offering. This is a growing area you can develop into over time, without it being the central focus of the role.
Built‐In Client Support
You won't be starting from scratch. We provide an initial client base and a steady pipeline of new leads through our existing marketing and referral network.
We're looking for a coach who values what that continuity represents — the chance to build meaningful, results‐driven relationships over time, within a studio environment that supports your development as much as your clients'. This is a role for someone who wants to put down roots, not just put in reps.
