**The Role**
Reporting to the State Manager, the Site Coordinator will manage and deliver site-specific corporate, property and accommodation services across DEWR state and regional offices.
Site Coordinators are a new role based at each state and regional office and will manage and support DEWR's location agnostic staff. Led by a National Site Coordinator, Site Coordinators will be appointed to manage local accommodation plans, onboard and offboard staff, manage site equipment, assets, building passes and be involved in WHS and Emergency management at the site. You will work within an allocated budget, reporting monthly progress to the National Site Coordinator.
You will assist the National Site Coordinator with site coordination policy development, and provide input to emergency management, business continuity planning, risk assessment and contribute to DEWR's Future Ways of Working policies.
Site Coordinators will manage property and accommodation services, resolving complex matters or escalating issues impacting site staff.
An important part of the role will be a focus on promoting Team DEWR culture at the site. You will organise local activities that foster a positive DEWR workplace culture such as diversity events, social club to ensure inclusion of all locations agnostic staff. You will reinforce corporate messages on a state/territory basis. Provide local support and mentoring as needed.
**Duties and Responsibilities**
Led by a National Site Coordinator, you will be part of a newly established team dispersed across the State Network, located in each State and Regional office. This hybrid team may have a number of reporting lines including Business Line Managers and State Managers. Site Coordinators are a dedicated role that will implement all elements of property and accommodation services, with a people first focus.
Initial implementation will include:
- Setup of accommodation plans.
- Establishing key contacts.
- Creating distribution lists.
- Updating business continuity plans.
- Emergency management and WHS plans and policies for each site.
Once implemented, the role will be to maintain and manage the site, ensuring our people are supported and safe.
