What you'll do
As an Appian Senior Architect, you will be responsible for leading strategic product or solution design, estimation, development, and delivery of Appian-based applications. This role requires extensive experience in Appian development, strong leadership abilities, and a deep understanding of Appian architecture and best practices. You will provide technical guidance, ensure adherence to industry standards, and drive successful delivery of scalable and efficient Appian solutions.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the design, development, and implementation of Appian applications, ensuring alignment with business requirements and best practices.
* Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to translate business needs into effective Appian solutions.
* Provide technical leadership to cross‐functional teams throughout the Appian development lifecycle.
* Analyze and troubleshoot complex issues, implementing effective solutions and optimizations.
* Oversee integration of Appian applications with existing systems using RESTful APIs, web services, and other methods.
* Conduct system performance evaluations and optimize solutions for speed and efficiency.
* Mentor and support junior team members, fostering continuous learning and growth.
* Ensure compliance with organizational standards, security, and governance requirements.
Here's what you need
* Minimum of 10+ years of extensive experience in Appian development and architecture.
* Must hold Lead Appian Certification.
* Proven experience in leading Appian projects and teams for complex delivery.
* Hands‐on development experience on Appian Versions.
* Strong background in software development and project management, preferably in Agile environments.
* Proficient in database design and Appian BPM suite, including Appian SAIL, Process Modeler, and Appian Sites.
* Deep knowledge of Appian architecture, components, and best practices.
* Experience with integration of Appian with other systems using RESTful APIs, web services (inbound/outbound), and SQL.
* Familiarity with Appian RPA and AI capabilities.
* Excellent problem‐solving, analytical, and communication skills.
* Strong leadership and stakeholder management abilities.
