Your new role
In this pivotal position, you will provide comprehensive executive support to the Principal and ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the Principal's Office. Key responsibilities include:
Diary and Schedule Management
* Proactively managing a complex and frequently changing calendar
* Prioritising appointments and coordinating internal and external meetings
* Anticipating and resolving scheduling conflicts
Executive Communication and Correspondence
- Preparing high quality correspondence, reports, briefings, and presentations
- Managing incoming communications and responding on behalf of the Principal where appropriate
- Ensuring timely and accurate flow of information across the school community
Meeting and Event Coordination
- Preparing agendas, papers, and minutes for Executive, Board, and leadership meetings
- Coordinating logistics for school events, ceremonies, and community engagements
- Following up on action items and ensuring deadlines are met
Stakeholder Engagement
- Acting as the first point of contact for the Principal's Office
- Building strong relationships with staff, students, parents, and external partners
- Managing confidential and sensitive matters with discretion
Operational and Administrative Support
Coordinating travel arrangements, itineraries, and briefing materials
- Maintaining accurate records, filing systems, and compliance documentation
- Supporting strategic initiatives and school improvement projects
Office Management and Process Improvement
- Streamlining administrative processes to enhance efficiency
- Identifying opportunities to improve workflows and systems
- Ensuring the Principal's Office operates with professionalism and accuracy
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will bring proven experience in a similar high level Executive Assistant position, and experience within the education sector is essential.
