We are an award-winning Australian company with global partnerships including Ferrari, Microsoft, Boeing, FIA, Ford, iRacing, and Sony PlayStation. As we continue to grow, we are expanding into a new 2,000 m² facility in Queensland.
We are looking for an experienced C# Desktop Developer to help evolve our platforms and related software products.
The Role
You will design, build, and optimize real-time desktop software that transforms game and simulation telemetry for Next Level Racing systems. You will work closely with Software, Hardware, R&D, and IT teams to deliver reliable, high-performance features.
Key Responsibilities
· Develop and maintain Windows desktop software in C# (WinForms/WPF, MVVM).
· Build and improve telemetry pipelines for simulation and gaming integrations.
· Implement and optimize real-time effect logic and performance-critical features.
· Integrate software with hardware systems and device interfaces (USB and related protocols).
· Troubleshoot telemetry parsing, hardware communication, and runtime issues.
· Contribute to architecture, code quality, unit testing, and release readiness.
· Support API integration, local data storage, and diagnostics/logging workflows.
· Collaborate with the CTO on project planning and delivery.
Required Skills & Experience
· 2+ years of professional C# development experience.
· Strong desktop application experience on Windows (WinForms and/or WPF).
· Solid understanding of object-oriented design and MVVM principles.
· Experience with real-time data processing and performance optimization.
· Experience with hardware/device integration (USB, serial, or similar).
· Experience with databases (preferably SQLite) and API integration.
· Proficiency with Git-based workflows.
· Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Nice to Have
· Experience with game telemetry, SDK integrations, or parser development.
· Exposure to simulation, motorsport, flight sim, or gaming technology products.
· Familiarity with haptics, force feedback, or device control systems.
· Experience writing unit tests (e.g., MSTest) and working in legacy-modern hybrid codebases.
· Basic knowledge of C/C++ interop in .NET environments.
