Overview
Plant HRBP role at Ferrero, Lithgow, New South Wales, Australia. The Plant HRBP is a key facilitator of HR processes and services for the local industrial team, coordinating with the Cluster HRBP to implement Group HR strategies. The role ensures alignment with Group policies while addressing the unique needs of the local industrial workforce. The position plays a pivotal role in talent development, employee engagement, labor relations, and HR systems management, contributing to a productive and empowering work environment.
Main Responsibilities
* Manage Plant HR Strategy and Policy Implementation, support the rollout of Group policies, guidelines, and methodologies at the Plant level
* Ensure local HR policies are up-to-date and compliant with Group standards and local regulations
* Ensure compliance with labor laws and HR administrative requirements
* Participate in union meetings and contribute to labor relations strategies alongside the ANZ Cluster HRBP
* Support communication strategies between managers and employees, support Line Managers in planning and structuring communication processes
* Manage recruitment and hiring processes, and ensure a smooth onboarding experience for new hires
* Prepare employment contracts in line with Group templates and legal requirements
* Support the implementation of professional development initiatives to enhance workforce capabilities
* Oversee training plans and development programs, especially for blue-collar employees
* Lead the execution of engagement initiatives and contribute to their design
* Collaborate with internal stakeholders to foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture
* Plan appropriate activities with internal teams to guarantee a satisfying and empowering working environment
* Collaborate with Finance and Payroll teams to ensure accurate payroll processing and compliance with tax and social security obligations; manage payroll process together with the Payroll Manager
* Manage attendance, leave, and overtime tracking systems and related salary calculations
* Ensure timely and compliant HR administrative processes
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date HR data in SAP and other systems
* Support internal and external audits with reliable HR data and documentation
Who we are looking for
* University degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
* Relevant HR business partnering experience, manufacturing or industrial setting is preferred
* HR professional knowledge including staffing, talent development, rewards, labour law and local HR best practices
* Excellent interpersonal and cross-functional communication skills, stakeholder management
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
* Flexibility and quick adaptability, open mind, agility
* Ability to work under pressure, meeting deadlines
* Advanced with MS Office, SAP knowledge is considered a plus
