Club Lounge Host
Job Description:
As a Club Lounge Host, you will provide exceptional service to our most loyal guests in our VIP lounge. Your role will involve connecting with guests, providing them with inside knowledge of the area, and ensuring they feel acknowledged, welcome, and informed.
Key Responsibilities:
* Greet guests upon arrival and interact effectively to ensure a warm welcome.
* Assist the Front Office, Crowne Meetings, and Food & Beverage teams to create unique guest experiences.
* Manage guest accounts, including check-in, billing, and payment procedures.
* Serve food and drinks to a high standard, including buffet breakfast, light snacks, and canapés.
* Host VIP guest events with your bubbly personality to create memorable moments.
* Be knowledgeable in the history of the area and know tourism attractions/operators for guest recommendations.
* Build strong relationships with tour operators for efficient booking services.
* Ensure seamless guest experiences by working collaboratively with hotel teams.
* Address guest feedback and resolve issues promptly to ensure guest satisfaction.
* Maintain all procedures and adhere to IHG guidelines, emphasizing hotel credit policy.
* Support the team in identifying and reporting hazards, evaluating risks, and designing control measures.
Requirements:
* Previous experience in a Food & Beverage/Guest Services position is essential.
* Opera knowledge is required.
* Qualifications in Hotel Management and/or Food & Beverage related fields are highly regarded.
* Flexibility to work night, weekend, and holiday shifts.
* Excellent communication skills, bilingual or multilingual language skills are advantageous.
* A team player with ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize workloads.
