Role Purpose
Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of platform transformation initiatives, people manager driving cloud modernisation, automation, and scalable platform capability aligned to the enterprise Data & AI strategy.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver end-to-end platform transformation programs, including cloud adoption, containerisation, microservices, and Infrastructure as Code.
Embed architecture, security, compliance, and governance standards across platform evolution.
Manage risks, dependencies, resources, and delivery timelines to ensure high-quality outcomes.
Provide clear reporting and communication on progress, risks, and opportunities to senior leadership.
Identify opportunities to optimise cost, performance, and platform scalability.
Promote innovation, automation, and continuous improvement across engineering teams.
Leadership & Collaboration
Lead, mentor, and develop platform engineers and technical specialists.
Champion Agile, DevOps, and continuous delivery practices to accelerate transformation.
Build strong relationships across product, engineering, architecture, and business teams.
Drive a culture of accountability, learning, and experimentation.
Facilitate effective communication and conflict resolution across cross-functional teams.

External: Strategic Partners, Vendors
Experience & Skills
5+ years in platform management, IT transformation, or technical program management in Data & AI environments.
Proven delivery of complex cloud/platform transformation initiatives.
Hands-on familiarity with Azure, Snowflake, Databricks, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, Ansible.
Strong understanding of data governance, security, and enterprise compliance.
Excellent project/program management and stakeholder engagement skills.
Demonstrated leadership of technical teams and cross-functional delivery.
Cloud or project management certifications advantageous.
