**Job Title:** Senior Finance Analyst
Job Description:
The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting the finance team by providing financial analysis, insights and governance to ensure strategic and operational goals are met.
This includes driving cost efficiency outcomes, quality capital investment, and continual financial process improvements. The ideal candidate will draw on their strong analytical capabilities, commercial acumen, and collaborative mindset to deliver meaningful financial insights and drive value across the business.
Main Responsibilities:
* Support month-end activities, including journal preparation, variance analysis, trend analysis, and vendor contract analysis to provide insight into operational costs drivers and commercial activities.
* OPEX and CAPEX governance processes, including purchase order process to ensure that accruals are up to date and tracked to ensure that spend is within budget estimates and contractual terms.
* Work with project managers to ensure accurate recognition and forecasting of spend.
* Attend and facilitate funding request approvals at various capital expenditure governance forums.
* Develop the annual budget, Rolling Forecast and Long-range plan working closely with stakeholders.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze financial and non-financial data, identify trends, and provide actionable recommendations that contribute to business goals.
* Assist with the preparation of business cases for initiatives that require capital and operational resources & ad-hoc business analysis as required.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
* Analytical skills for detailed insight analysis.
* Preferably finance qualified with CPA/CIMA/CA/MBA or equivalent.
* Excellent communication skills and an independent thinker.
* Strong Excel knowledge.
* Presentation skills.
* Ability to adapt to fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
* Excellent interpersonal skills with a commercial and pragmatic approach.
