We're working with an ASX-listed services company who's looking for a commercially sharp, hands‐on Enterprise Architect to step into a true Group Architect role. This is a single-incumbent position with enterprise‐wide influence, shaping the long‐term technology direction across a fast‐growing, multi‐entity business.
You'll define the target state architecture, build and maintain a 3 to 5 year roadmap, and ensure technology decisions are pragmatic, scalable and aligned to growth, including acquisitions.
What you'll be responsible for
* Establishing and embedding enterprise architecture governance, standards and principles
* Defining the target state across applications, data, integration, infrastructure and security
* Owning the multi‐year technology roadmap and aligning it to business capability uplift
* Leading technology due diligence and integration planning for acquisitions
* Guiding major programs from concept through to design sign‐off
* Driving rationalisation and reducing platform duplication and technical debt
What we're looking for
* 8 to 10+ years in Enterprise Architecture, CTO or similar senior architecture roles
* Strong experience building roadmaps aligned to business strategy
* Proven exposure to M&A due diligence and post‐deal integration
* Background across ERP, BI and enterprise platforms
* Comfortable influencing executives and working closely with delivery teams
* Experience in fast‐growing, multi‐entity environments highly regarded
* TOGAF or similar architecture certification desirable
This is a strategic role with real ownership, but it's not ivory tower architecture. You'll be close to delivery, shaping decisions early and helping teams make the right trade‐offs.
Based in brand‐new offices in South Melbourne, 4 days onsite, reporting to the CIO.
