Home Ownership Housing Support Officer
This role supports Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander individuals and families in Hedland to move towards home ownership.
* Provide assistance to break down barriers preventing home ownership;
presently focusing on tenancy, employment, and/or paid training initiatives. Key responsibilities include:
• Offering tailored support to overcome obstacles hindering homeownership
• Collaborating with clients to achieve sustainable tenancies, enhanced employability, or valuable work experience
1. The ultimate objective is a self-sufficient lifestyle for Indigenous Australians within the community of Hedland.
1. One key area of focus involves addressing systemic challenges that restrict access to affordable housing options.
2. Another priority revolves around delivering personalized services aimed at bolstering job readiness among participants.
