Clinical Nurse Consultant Oncology Coordination
Overview of the Role:
The Clinical Nurse Consultant - Oncology Coordination plays a pivotal role in providing specialist cancer nursing knowledge and comprehensive care coordination service to patients and their families in the Great Southern region.
This position demands leadership, ability to implement best practice standards, and commitment to enhancing patient experience within a multidisciplinary care model.
As a key figure within the team, the Consultant will lead clinical initiatives, drive quality improvements, and ensure the highest standard of care in oncology services.
Ideal Candidate:
Extensive clinical and professional knowledge, particularly in oncology.
Proven leadership skills with ability to inspire and guide diverse teams.
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex patient needs.
Familiarity with human resource principles related to nursing practice.
Knowledge of quality improvement and patient safety principles.
Experience in research methodologies and best practice applications in healthcare.
