We are currently looking for a highly experienced and disciplined
Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (Avionics)
to join our defence sector in
Amberley, QLD

*Your role
In This Role, Your Key Responsibilities Will Include*
* Dismantling, inspecting, testing, repairing and reassembling aircraft engines, ancillary components, accessories, and electrical systems;
* Conducting routine pre–flight checks and inspections of engines and equipment;
* Maintaining thorough records of actions taken;
* Assembling components, parts and subassemblies of aircraft engines and equipment, and;
* Testing, maintaining, replacing, and upgrading aircraft safety equipment.
*The essential requirements*
* Trade Certificate IV (Avionics);
* Any C-27J experience (preferably type rated);
* Heavy maintenance experience on transport aircraft;
* Highly skilled and competent in aircraft mechanical system troubleshooting, repair and installation of mechanical components.
* Strong team player;
* Ability to follow supervisory direction;
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
* Consistent positive and proactive attitude;
* Passion for safe work practices;
* Valid work visa;
* Red ASIC card (or ability to obtain);
* Current Australian Driver's licence.; and
* Australian citizenship and ability to gain Defence clearance.
