Job Overview
We are seeking a qualified educator to join our faculty as a Secondary School Teacher of Outdoor Education. This is a great opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic individual who can teach from a Christian worldview.
* You will be responsible for delivering outdoor education programs for students in Years 7 – 12, including ATAR and General subjects.
* Your teaching load will also include Years 9-10 Outdoor Education and Year 11 Essential and Foundation Mathematics.
* Two camps will be held during Term Two, including a Year 11 Expedition which returns on a Saturday.
* You will need to use time during lunch, recess, before and after school to plan and execute excursions.
* The ideal candidate should have experience running activities such as camping, hiking, canoeing/kayaking, abseiling, rock climbing and bushwalking.
* You will need to apply appropriate risk management and emergency response protocols.
