At RJE Global, we specialise in projects involving the provision of electrical balance of plant solutions. This encompasses various aspects such as underground and overhead high voltage transmission systems, substations and switchyards, diesel and gas-fired turbines, wind farms, battery storage systems, and mining process plants. As a Site WHSE Advisor, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the health, safety, and environmental compliance of RJE Global's operations. You will be responsible for implementing and enforcing WHSE systems, conducting site inductions, and fostering a safety-conscious culture among all personnel.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide assistance in the development of internal training of RJE employees on RJE WHSE responsibilities, documentation requirements, policies and procedures.
Advise and apply a detailed understanding of WHSE related Australian Standards, codes of practice, acts and regulations.
Prepare written correspondence, Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS), safety alerts, incident reports and training matrixes.
Conduct site inspections, audits, and risk assessments; ensure site safety systems are implemented effectively.
Provide site inductions for new project employees and contribute to daily safety related talks with work crews on site.
Communicate and liaise with company, client and external representatives in relation to WHSE requirements and standards.
Required:
Minimum WHS qualification; Cert IV in WHS
Provide First Aid & CPR Qualification
Drug & Alcohol Collector Training
Be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Strong understanding of WHSE documentation used in construction projects
Demonstrated organisational skills and ability to work to tight schedules
Methodical, accurate, and detail-oriented work approach
Construction White Card
Driver Licence
Advantageous:
Diploma in WHS
Cert IV in Training & Assessing
ICAM Lead Investigator Training or equivalent
Experience working on heavy industrial construction sites and in remote locations
Previous FIFO WHSE Advisor experience within the construction industry
