The Opportunity
We are offering a rare opportunity for an experienced General Manager to lead our high-performing Hino and Hyundai truck dealership.
This role is based in Wodonga; however, you will also oversee our Shepparton operation.
In this hands-on role, you will be reporting directly to the Dealer Principal. You will be responsible for the overall performance and strategic direction of the dealership, encompassing new and pre-owned sales, service, parts, finance & insurance, as well as the customer experience.
About the role
* Providing strong, visionary leadership to the organisation and its employees
* Developing and implementing business plans and strategies to achieve key performance indicators and organisational goals
* Hands-on sales of new and pre-owned trucks
* Overseeing all day-to-day operations of new truck sales, pre-owned truck sales, service, parts and finance
* Drive business performance, customer satisfaction, and brand compliance
* Lead and develop a results-driven team with a focus on accountability and cohesion
* Building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, suppliers, and the local community
* Ensure all manufacturer KPIs and financial targets are met or exceeded
* Enhance the customer journey, ensuring a premium and consistent experience
* Act as a brand ambassador within the community
What we're looking for
* Extensive experience as a General Manager within an automotive or truck dealership
* Strong financial and operational management capabilities
* A proven track record of driving both sales and fixed operations performance
* Inspirational leadership and the ability to cultivate a high-performance culture
* Clear, confident communication and negotiation skills
* Capacity to work autonomously while aligning with strategic group goals
