Your responsibilities will include:Leading and supervising the Websites for Schools Team in delivering exceptional web support and services to Queensland state schools.Working with schools to discuss their website, existing content, and future improvements.Providing expert advice and guidance on emerging and existing web-related issues, staying up to date with the latest industry trends and best practices.Liaising with schools to ensure web content complies with government accessibility standards, is well structured, accurate and styled, and adheres to the department's web publishing guidelines.Developing support material to help schools to publish web content.Providing advice and guidance regarding elements such as content best practice, information architecture, content creation, usability and accessibility.Working with design and development teams.About YouTo excel in this role, it would be highly desirable to possess the following skills and experience:Demonstrated experience in all facets of web content, preferably in an educational or corporate setting.Demonstrated experience leading a small team.Demonstrated ability ensuring web content meets industry standards and guidelines relating to best practice.Demonstrated experience with SharePoint.Proven ability in coordinating and managing web related activities, time management and working effectively in a team environment.Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.Effectively build and maintain strategic working relationships with schools and stakeholders.Contribute to creating a workplace that embraces diverse backgrounds, perspectives, and life experiences.Interested?
