Department: Sales Reports To: National Sales Development Manager Location: Whether Park, NSW Pay Type: Base Salary Commissions Role Purpose To drive sales growth and customer engagement by promoting and selling the company’s construction chemical products. This role combines technical product knowledge with proactive relationship management to deliver strong commercial outcomes across the assigned territory. The Sales Representative will work closely with the sales team to achieve sales targets and contribute to the growth of the company. Key Responsibilities Sales & Business Development Develop new business opportunities and grow existing customer accounts. Achieve agreed sales target, KPIs, and revenue objectives. Prepare and follow up quotes, pricing proposals, and commercial agreements. Keep up to date with industry trends and developments to identify new sales opportunities. Customer Engagement & Technical Support Conduct product demonstrations, site visits, and technical presentations. Provide product recommendations and technical guidance tailored to customer needs. Build strong long-term relationships with customers, distributors, and contractors. Negotiate and close sales deals to achieve sales targets. Reporting & Administration Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, pipelines, and forecasts in CRM systems. Prepare weekly and monthly sales report for management review. Monitor competitor activity and market trends, providing feedback to management. Collaboration & Brand Representation Work closely with production, technical, and customer service teams to ensure seamless delivery. Represent the company at trade events, expos, and industry functions. Support marketing initiatives and product launches as required. Skills, Experience & Attributes Required: Proven sales experience, ideally in construction materials, chemicals, or industrial products. Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. Ability to work autonomously and manage a field-based role. Current Australian driver’s licence. Preferred: Technical background or experience selling technical products. CRM and reporting system experience. Proficient in Microsoft Office
