Apprentice Fitter Opportunity
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as an Apprentice Fitter. As an apprentice, you will work alongside experienced tradespeople and be trained in all aspects of mechanical fitting, including:
* Assisting with the assembly and disassembly of underground mining material handling equipment, including gearboxes, drive lines, winching systems, hydraulic power packs, and other hydraulic-driven machinery.
* Supporting the maintenance and servicing of both fixed and mobile plant equipment on-site.
* Completing maintenance schedule reports and documentation for inspected or repaired equipment.
* Carrying out ancillary tasks, such as minor painting, steam cleaning, and workshop duties.
* Following tolerance assembly procedures, with proper documentation in job cards where required.
* Working to complete assigned tasks within designated timeframes.
