We’re looking for a Dispense Technician to join Star Discount Chemist Prospect on a part-time basis. This is a great opportunity for someone with dispensary experience, or a Pharmacy Assistant looking to take the next step in their pharmacy career, with full training and mentoring provided.

About The Role
In this role, your primary focus will be supporting the dispensary team to deliver efficient, high-quality service to our customers.
Key Responsibilities Include
Assisting Pharmacists with the dispensing and assembly of medicationsSupporting dispensary workflow to ensure prescriptions are processed accurately and efficientlyProviding general customer service and product adviceUpdating customer records and managing dispensary stockPacking Dose Administration Aids (Websters)Processing orders and unpacking stock into the dispensary
About You
You’re someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and brings a positive, can-do attitude. You’ll have:
Strong attention to detail and accuracyExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsA professional presentation and team-focused approachThe ability to work independently and take direction when requiredAvailability to work 20–25 hours per week
Experience & Qualifications
Ideal but not essential:
Previous experience as a Dispense Technician or Webster PackerS2/S3 medication certificationCertificate III in Community PharmacyExperience using MINFOS
Full training will be provided for the right candidate.
