Training Quality and Compliance Officer
Join Simtars as a Training Quality and Compliance Officer.
We are seeking a proactive professional to support our RTO in meeting national standards, legislation and the VET Quality Framework. In this role, you will develop and improve policies and procedures, support audits, maintain evidence and compliance systems, investigate complaints, and provide clear, practical advice to senior leaders. You will work closely with training coordinators and stakeholders to embed quality across daily operations.
The role requires experience in an RTO or VET sector, strong communication skills, and familiarity with systems such as aXcelerate. A TAE40116/TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or relevant assessment units) and a current driver's licence are desirable.

Responsibilities
* Develop and improve policies and procedures
* Support and manage internal audits
* Maintain evidence and documentation systems
* Investigate complaints and incidents
* Provide expert advice to senior management
* Interpret regulatory changes and translate them into actionable guidance
* Support high-quality training outcomes across the organisation
Qualifications
* Experience in an RTO or training environment
* Strong communication skills
* Familiarity with the VET sector
* Experience with learning management systems such as aXcelerate
* Formal qualification in TAE40116/TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or equivalent, or willingness to work towards the full qualification
* Current driver's licence
