What you will do
* Provide exceptional customer service to Turo owners and guests
* Investigate and process auto claims filed by Turo owners and guests
* Assist Turo members in the self-resolution process when possible
* Coordinate claims processing with Turo's third-party administrator and vendors
* Collect any amounts due from renters
* Maintain accurate and complete claim documentation
* Actively contribute to continuous improvement in Turo's claims handling processes
* Support Turo's goal of being a leader in customer service and cost management
Your profile
* Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
* 1+ years of experience in auto motor claims handling, preferably with a major auto insurance carrier or car rental company
* Outstanding conflict resolution and de-escalation skills
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and embrace change
* Excellent follow-through, attention to detail, and minimal need for supervision
* Strong team player with a positive attitude, high energy, integrity, strong work ethic, enthusiasm, and commitment to the mission
* Commitment to high responsiveness and availability
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
* Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Ability to prioritize tasks and delegate when appropriate
* Ability to function well in a high-paced and sometimes stressful environment
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
* Demonstrates Turo's values through work product and day-to-day team interactions

For this role, the target base salary range in Sydney, Australia is $68,000-$85,000 (AUD) annually + superannuation (12% of salary). This role is also eligible for equity, and benefits. In general, our ranges reflect the market-based target for new hire salaries based on the level and location of the role. Within the range, individual pay is determined by objective factors assessed during the application and interview process, such as job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. We encourage you to talk with your recruiter to learn more about the total compensation and benefits available for this role.
Turo highly values having employees working in-office to foster a collaborative work environment and company culture. This role will be in-office on a hybrid schedule — Turoists will be expected to work in the office 3 days per week on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.
