We are now looking for a Manufacturing Operator to join our Brisbane team.The purpose of this role is to complete manufacturing tasks for the Cochlear Implant System, shift work located in Newstead.As a Manufacturing Operator, you will play a vital role in completing manufacturing tasks for the Cochlear Implant System while meeting productivity and quality requirements.You'll be working with a fantastic team at Cochlear's Brisbane operations on Helen Street in Newstead.If you have experience in manufacturing operator tasks and hold good written and verbal communication skills, we want to hear from you.As we provide extensive on-the-job training and support to help you succeed in this role, candidates without manufacturing experience are welcome to apply and will be trained on the job.This is your chance to be part of an organization with a great culture, working in a dynamic, growing, and rapidly evolving environment to deliver outstanding results that benefit our customers every day.Be part of something purposeful and apply now to see your career grow!Key Requirements:You must have full working rights in Australia.Candidates on a visa must have at least 2 years remaining on the visa and have full unrestricted work rights (at least 38 hours a week).Working Holiday and Student Visas are not eligible to apply. We cannot offer sponsorship.Good written and verbal communication skills are essential as this role required diligently following verbal instructions as well as written documents that provides clear and precise steps to carry out different tasks.Ability to follow processes and work within a team environment toward a common goal.Ability to wear manufacturing garments to ensure manufacturing practices adhere to quality standards and ensure product safety. This includes but is not limited to the wearing of a mask, hood, gloves, finger stalls, hair net, coat/coverall, shoe covers and ESD strap.Experience in manufacturing operator tasks (such as packing, testing, cleaning, washing etc) is idealYou will be initially allocated on one of our fixed shift patterns. The shift times are:Day shift - 6:24 am - 2:30 pmAfternoon shift - 2:24 pm - 10:30pmThis role is located on 12 Helen St Teneriffe QLD 4005 please note onsite parking is not available.This role is paid via grade levels commencing with level 1 at $57,865 and in time as your skills increase you can progress up to a level 4 which pays $67,275 per year (as an Electronic Assembler).Pre-Employment Medical ExaminationAt Cochlear, we care about your well-being and have a strong focus regarding the safety of our employees.
