We're looking for an experienced Payroll Officer to join our close-knit Finance team in a part-time, hybrid role based out of our Springwood office.

The Opportunity
This is an end-to-end payroll role supporting both veterinary and non‐veterinary teams across the business.
You'll play a critical role in ensuring our people are paid accurately, on time, and in line with complex awards and compliance requirements.
What You'll Be Doing
* End-to-end payroll processing (fortnightly & monthly cycles)
* Managing onboarding and offboarding payroll requirements
* Interpreting awards, entitlements, tax and super
* Handling payroll queries and resolving discrepancies
* Conducting audits and supporting compliance (Fair Work, ATO)
* Processing manual payments, wage advances, and reportingBuilding and maintaining payroll reports and dashboards
* Supporting continuous improvement and SOP development
What We're Looking For
* 5+ years' experience in end-to-end payroll
* Strong understanding of awards and payroll compliance
* Experience managing payroll with minimal supervision
* High attention to detail and accuracy
* Strong Excel and payroll systems capability
* Ability to manage competing deadlines in a fast‐paced environment
* Confident communicator with a collaborative approach
