The Opportunity
An outstanding opportunity has arisen for an experienced and passionate Executive Manager to Clinical and Care (EMCC) to join the leadership team. Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, this role provides strategic and operational leadership across all clinical, health and wellbeing services.
The EMCC will lead the delivery of resident centred care, ensuring compliance with the Aged Care Quality Standards, legislation, and accreditation requirements, while promoting a culture of continuous improvement and high performance.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide strategic and operational leadership across clinical, health and wellbeing functions.
* Ensure delivery of high-quality, person-centred care aligned with organisational values.
* Oversee compliance with all legislative, regulatory and accreditation requirements.
* Lead, mentor and support clinical and wellbeing teams to achieve outstanding care outcomes.
* Drive continuous quality improvement initiatives across all areas of service delivery.
* Manage clinical performance, budgets, and AN-ACC funding processes.
* Support residents, families and staff with empathy, professionalism, and open communication.
* Collaborate with the CEO and leadership team to deliver strategic goals and organisational growth.
About You
You are a dynamic, compassionate, and highly skilled leader who is committed to excellence in aged care. You bring a strong balance of clinical expertise, people leadership, and operational management.
To be successful, you will have:
* Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse.
* Minimum 5 years’ experience in a senior aged care management role (DoN, ADON or equivalent).
* Extensive knowledge of the Aged Care Act 1997, Aged Care Quality Standards (2023) and AN-ACC funding model.
* Proven leadership and people management capabilities with a collaborative and supportive approach.
* Demonstrated success managing clinical performance, budgets, and accreditation outcomes.
* Expertise in Palliative Care, Advanced Care Planning, and Dementia care.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal and conflict management skills.
* Commitment to continuous professional development.
