Your role within multidisciplinary mental health team, Medicare Mental Health Centre Muswellbrook will allow you to:
* Grow and enhance skills while working in a field you enjoy
* Work closely with the clinical team to conduct comprehensive assessments and formulate care coordination plans for individuals with mild to moderate mental health issues.
* Provide timely and person-centred support to customers accessing our services, including provision of relevant information about the services available to them, their families, carers and community partners.
* Provide high quality person-centred individual and/or family brief interventions and/or case management that are strengths based, recovery-oriented and culturally responsive and in line with Social Futures Practice Framework.
Joining us, you'll join a multidisciplinary mental health team delivering high quality mental health services – including intake, assessment, psychological interventions, and referral services for individuals who experience mental health issues and are seeking support. The role supports a weekend referral intake and assessment roster. From facilitating groups to individual support sessions, your work will be diverse and impactful.

We are looking for a passionate individual with a desire to make a difference. The successful candidate will have:
* Tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience in health, psychology, social work, social science or social welfare, health promotion or similar.
* Experience providing high quality customer-centred assessment and support with people with mental health and AOD concerns.
* Excellent written and oral communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills, with the ability to communicate sensitively and effectively with all people to ensure effective relationships.
* Demonstrated well-developed organisational, time management and administrative skills with the ability to plan, prioritise and meet deadlines.
