Job Description
* Deliver HV primary substation detail designs (132 kV - 500 kV) in compliance with Australian standards.
* Develop and review single-line diagrams (SLDs) and substation layouts.
* Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure project alignment and efficiency.
* Provide technical expertise in both AIS and GIS systems.
* Engage with clients to understand their requirements and provide tailored solutions.
* Ensure all deliverables meet quality and safety standards.
* Support project planning and provide input on technical aspects during the proposal stage.
* Mentor and guide junior engineers within the team.
The Successful Applicant
* A successful Lead Primary Engineer should have:
* Proficiency in HV primary substation design, including AIS and GIS systems.
* Strong knowledge of Australian standards relevant to the Energy sector.
* Experience developing layouts, single-line diagrams (SLDs), and other design documentation.
* Excellent coordination skills for working with multidisciplinary teams.
* Effective communication skills for client engagement and relationship management.
* A degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline
