The ICT Service Manager will be responsible for managing the delivery and performance of IT services for the Supply Chain product group. These roles are focused on the sustainment, support, and continuous improvement of Supply Chain applications, ensuring their availability, reliability, and alignment with Defence operational requirements. The successful applicants will lead a team and manage complex programs for IT services, applying contract management, technical lifecycle management, financial oversight, and stakeholder engagement skills. The successful applicants will be accountable for setting priorities, managing workflows and resources, and exercising people and financial responsibilities to deliver strategic business outcomes. About our Team Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) is a key enabler of the One Defence reform agenda. ERP will standardise and integrate critical functions needed into a single SAP platform delivering a major capability uplift for Defence. The ERP Support Organisation (ESO) with Defence Digital Group (DDG) is responsible for the coordination of ERP sustainment services across legacy applications and SAP capabilities. ESO adopts the DDG Service Integration and Management (SIAM) framework for end-to-end ICT service integration and delivers integrated governance, operating models, processes and structure in support of the ERP Operating Model. The Directorate of Supply Chain Management Systems focuses on continuous improvement and sustainment of Defence Supply Chain applications to support military and civilian personnel. This is achieved by promoting stronger influence, providing support across stakeholder groups in an integrated learning environment, and engaging in long term sustainment strategies, with a focus on supporting and enabling the war fighter. Our goals are also aligned with the strategic goals of the ERP program in managing HR-related applications within the Defence Protected Network (DPN) and Defence Secret Network (DSN) to enhance workforce effectiveness. Our Ideal Candidate We want to hear from applicants that have the following experience and skills: Proven ability to deliver IT Service Management outcomes with a focus on IT Service Operations and continual service improvement. Ability to undertake Software and service Life-cycle Planning. Able to work under pressure and manage competing priorities across a program of activities. Ability to interpret and provide advice based on legislation, policy and procedures including ICT security processes. Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to communicate with influence to resolve complex issues through well-developed stakeholder management skills. Management experience in leading, setting and managing the work in a team and building team capability through coaching, performance management and quality improvement.
