Role Overview
Join our team as a Factory Hand, where you will play a vital role in supporting our manufacturing and production processes. You will perform various manual tasks to ensure we meet production targets while maintaining high safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Production Support: Assist with assembly, manual handling, and the operation of machinery or basic tools.
* Logistics: Load and unload deliveries and move materials securely throughout the facility.
* Quality Control: Conduct visual inspections and report any defective products or equipment malfunctions.
* Maintenance: Clean and organise workspaces and perform minor repairs on tools as required.
Skills and Requirements
* Citizenship: Must be an Australian Citizen.
* Tool Experience: Previous experience with basic hand and power tools (e.g., drills, saws, grinders, or wrenches) is highly desirable.
* Physical Fitness: Ability to perform manual labour, including heavy lifting (often up to 20kg) and standing for long periods.
* Safety Conscious: Strong commitment to following Occupational Health and Safety (OHS)policies and procedures.
* Detail Oriented: Good hand-eye coordination and the ability to follow precise instructions.
* Reliability: Proven track record of punctuality and a positive \"can-do\" attitude.
* Communication: Strong ability to follow verbal and written instructions as part of a team.
