Job Opportunity:
We are seeking a Junior Support Specialist to perform level 1 technical support services in a large federal government environment based in Canberra.
Key Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot and diagnose technical incidents, queries, complaints, service requests or change requests following established procedures.
- Manage and take ownership of assigned technical issues through to resolution.
- Escalate technical issues and service requests to relevant technical teams as per set procedures.
- Provide advice and information on technical fixes and procedures to end users for successful issue resolution.
- Provide 24/7 support on a rotational roster basis.
Key Requirements:
- 1-2 years experience working as Service Desk or Help Desk Analyst for a large environment.
- Tertiary Education or other relevant IT qualifications, or relevant practical experience.
- Basic experience with Active Directory.
- Ability to service high volume technical issues and tickets.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills, show initiative and be outcome focused.
- Ability to build strong working relationships with diverse stakeholders
- Be an effective team player and make positive contributions.
