About the role
The Construction Manager will play a key role in working alongside tier-1 construction partners in managing the delivery of HV transmission projects. This role will support the project delivery team through the development of a maintenance /construction delivery strategy, that will be implemented throughout the entire project lifecycle.
Simultaneously, the Construction Manager will co-ordinate, manage and direct site delivery activities across multiple work fronts including civil, tower assembly & erection along with stringing work activities.
Additionally, this role will manage site delivery key completion activities throughout project execution, ensuring issues/defects/Non-conformances are managed and resolved ensuring completion requirements are met throughout the project lifecycle.
As these projects are often based in regional Queensland, the Construction Manager will typically be site-based on a roster.
About you
You are an expert in the planning and management of high quality, customer focused, construction delivery across critical HV transmission line infrastructure construction projects.
Ideally you will have tertiary qualifications in a relevant field of Engineering, Construction or Project Management or lesser qualifications supported by significant construction site management experience in a relevant industry, ideally HV transmission or similar; 
Be prepared to work from site on a roster to support the on-site project and construction delivery; 
Demonstrated time management, planning and organisational skills, prioritising and negotiation a challenging construction schedule; 
Tenacity and initiative to work through complex construction activities and issues focussed on optimised and efficient delivery; and
Solid customer service and stakeholder management skills, achieving success through your broad collaboration, consultation, negotiation and influencing skills.
