We are seeking a seasoned sales leader to drive regional sales growth and customer engagement for electrical connections in Oceania.
Responsibilities:
* Develop and execute strategies to boost end user and contractor demand, resulting in distributor sales growth
* Create and implement sales plans to increase revenue in Oceania, focusing on key markets and customers
* BUILD AND EXECUTE REGIONAL SALES PLANS TO DRIVE CUSTOMER GROWTH AND NEW BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES
* Collaborate with marketing and product teams to identify areas for improvement and ensure effective sales execution through team work
* Refine value propositions for distributors to grow market share, leveraging industry trends and competitor analysis
* Lead and mentor the sales team, ensuring strategy understanding and accountability by setting clear expectations and goals for achieving sales objectives
You will be the primary point of contact between customers and support functions, working closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement sales strategies.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's Degree preferred, or applicable experience in technical sales
* Ideal candidate will have 10+ years of experience in outside sales and/or territory management, with 3+ years in a leadership position
* Experience with Electrical sales, with a focus on end user demand creation and channel development
* Strong skills in working with end users to create solutions that meet their needs, as well as expertise in dealing with electrical and/or mechanical distributors
* Deep knowledge of P&L and its impact on daily business decisions
* Excellent selling, financial management, and organizational skills
