Role Summary
We are seeking a skilled Backup and Storage Engineer to design, implement, and support secure and compliant backup solutions for government and enterprise clients.
This technical role requires hands-on expertise and excellent client engagement skills.
* Key Responsibilities:
* Design and deploy robust backup solutions using Commvault and Commvault Cloud (Metallic) platforms.
* Perform patching and system upgrades to ensure reliability and security.
* Ensure backup and recovery environments align with ISM controls and the Essential Eight framework.
* Work closely with vendors and stakeholders to resolve issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement long-term solutions.
* Prepare and maintain technical documentation including High-Level Designs (HLDs), Low-Level Designs (LLDs), as-built documents, and Work Instructions (WIs).

What We Are Looking For
* A degree in Computer Science or a related field.
* 5+ years of experience delivering Commvault backup solutions in complex enterprise environments.
* Practical experience with Commvault Cloud (Metallic).
* Strong communication and coordination skills, with a client-centric mindset.
* Experience working within ISM and Essential Eight frameworks.
* Confidence in preparing technical documentation and contributing to solution design.
* Industry certifications (e.g. Commvault, Veeam) will be highly regarded.
