This is more than a sales role, it's an prospect to immerse yourself in the art world, connecting people with works they'll treasure.About the Role: In this role, you'll be the welcoming face for collectors, managing both walk-ins and private appointments, and nurturing long-term client relationships.
With nearly a dozen exhibitions a year, dual shows of emerging and established artists, and regular art fairs across Australia and internationally, no two weeks are the same.
You'll help shape how clients experience the gallery and guide them through the collection with confidence, style, and insight.
Engaging with a diverse collector base, building strong, lasting relationships, and providing exceptional client care.
Mining our client database to reconnect with existing collectors and cultivate new opportunities.
Supporting the Gallery Director with proposals, invoices, and administrative tasks, ensuring the gallery runs seamlessly.
Representing the gallery at art fairs and events, sharing your enthusiasm and knowledge of the collection with style and charm.
About You: You are engaging, have excellent communication skills, both written and verbally.
You have immaculate presentation, with your own flare as well as the follwing:Brings confidence, charisma, and a presence, someone who can engage clients with ease.
Has a genuine curiosity for contemporary art and can "speak the language," even without deep formal knowledge.
Is proactive, self-starting, and comfortable taking ownership of clients and opportunities.
Has a background in the arts - highly desirable, not mandatory Thrives in a small, creative team and enjoys the energy of a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
Sales experience a plus.
What's on offer: Market-competitive salary: $60–80K (depending on experience) + Super + Commissions.
