Your Next Role
Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you'll be hands-on keeping our automation systems running smoothly.
You will lead the way in fault-finding, programming, and improving PLC, SCADA, DCS, and drive systems to keep production moving safely and efficiently.
If you enjoy solving problems, getting machines back online, and finding better ways to do things, this role gives you the chance to make a real impact on site performance and reliability.

Proactively manage and maintain automation systems across the area.
Collaborate closely with operations teams to support electrical safety, effective flow control, and production optimisation.
Recommend and implement electrical and mechanical improvements by partnering with internal and external stakeholders on various site projects.
Act as a mentor to others in the electrical team, sharing your knowledge and helping build capability to resolve complex electrical issues.
Carry out tasks in line with defined standards and in compliance with all relevant quality, environmental, legislative and regulatory requirements.
Location
You will be based at our plant in the Tuan Forest, located in the beautiful Fraser Coast region.
This coastal town offers affordable living and is proudly home to Queensland's greatest icons including K'Gari.
About you
Electrical trade qualified with strong automation and control systems experience.
Demonstrated expertise in PLC/SCADA/DCS systems (e.g. Allen Bradley, PILZ), fault-finding and automation upgrades.
Skilled in AC drives, with exposure to process instrumentation, hydraulics and pneumatics (advantageous).
Experience supporting manufacturing automation, preventative maintenance and site projects.
Strong computer skills with experience using CMMS or automation software.
Effective communicator who collaborates well with operations and maintenance stakeholders.
Knowledge of lean manufacturing and problem-solving frameworks (desirable).
