About the role
The Senior Console Operator is responsible for providing ongoing support to the Retail Store Manager in the administration of day-to-day operations of the store. This role is a combination of front-facing customer service and managerial duties.
Key Duties
- Console Operator duties, including customer service, processing sales transactions, upselling and keeping the store well presented.
- Inventory management and stock control
- Assistance with last-minute roster changes
- Filing and general admin tasks
- Supporting Retail Store Manager tasks in their absence, including financial reconciliations, ordering, timesheet approvals etc.
- Training and recommendation for sign off all current store employees
- Any other duties as reasonably required
What you will bring to Park
- Minimum 2 years of Console Operator or Store Manager (fuel) experience required
- Applicants with food preparation and/or fuel experience will be highly favourable
- Strong leadership and communication skills, both written and verbal
- High standards of customer service and presentation
- Collaborative attitude with eagerness to obtain new skills
- Adaptability and resilience to work in a fast-paced environment
- Keen eye for detail and safety
- Strong sense of self-accountability and self-motivation
