This role is crucial in ensuring optimal funding utilisation, compliance with NDIS guidelines, and effective financial planning to support the program’s sustainability.You will work closely with clients, families, support coordinators, internal teams, and government agencies to maximise client funding and improve internal financial processes. Additionally, you will provide strategic insights to senior management, ensuring informed decision-making for service planning and investment.Key ResponsibilitiesNDIS Funding & Financial Management:Serve as the primary specialist for NDIS funding within the Lifestyles programMonitor NDIS claims, proactively addressing rejections and discrepancies and Debtor management of unpaid invoicesDevelop and implement strategies to optimise funding utilisationConduct financial modelling to assess changes in NDIS funding and their impact on service viabilityLead the implementation of pricing changes, ensuring compliance with NDIS Pricing GuidelinesStakeholder Collaboration & Relationship ManagementWork closely with internal teams (e.g., Client Engagement, Finance, Lifestyles) to ensure a whole-of-client approach to fundingBuild and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including NDIA financial departments, support coordinators, and familiesProvide guidance to managers and frontline staff to navigate NDIS funding processes effectivelyAdvocate for government policy improvements by leveraging financial insights and sector knowledgeReporting, Analysis & ComplianceAnalyse financial trends and share insights to maximise funding opportunitiesDevelop reports to inform strategic planning, budgeting, and forecastingEnsure compliance with NDIS policies, guidelines, and funding requirementsSupport the implementation of automated financial analysis tools and predictive income reportingContinuous Improvement & InnovationIdentify efficiencies in funding management, exploring automation and new financial toolsLead sector research to remain updated on best practices and funding trendsSupport the development of customer-friendly communications around funding changesEssential CriteriaWhat We’re Looking ForTertiary qualification in Finance, Business, Accounting, or a related fieldExtensive experience in financial management and data analysisStrong understanding of NDIS funding models and pricing guidelinesProven ability to interpret financial regulations and ensure complianceStrong stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skillsAdvanced problem-solving skills with an analytical and detail-oriented mindsetExperience working with financial reporting systems and business analytics toolsDesirable CriteriaFive years of experience with NDIS funding will be highly regarded.Experience in the disability sector or NDIA-related financial rolesStrong understanding of government funding structures and policiesImportant InformationAt CPA the safety of our staff and clients is of paramount importance.
