A rare chance has opened up for a talented lawyer to join a high-performing Public Law practice in Sydney. This is a agile role offering exposure to complex and meaningful work, where you will provide advice, advocacy, and dispute resolution services to a variety of government clients.
You will be involved in a broad spectrum of matters, including administrative decision-making, privacy and FOI issues, and disputes spanning merits and judicial review proceedings in the Administrative Appeals Tribunal and Federal Courts. You will also collaborate with some of the most experienced professionals in the field, gaining invaluable insight and mentorship along the way.
Responsibilities
Provide advice, advocacy, and dispute resolution services to government clients across a broad spectrum of matters.
Engage with administrative decision-making, privacy and FOI issues, and merits and judicial review proceedings in the Administrative Appeals Tribunal and Federal Courts.
Collaborate with experienced professionals to gain mentorship and develop expertise in public law.
Qualifications
A minimum of 2+ years in government litigation
Robust technical legal skills with well-honed advocacy experience
Confidence to manage client relationships with minimal supervision
A collaborative mindset and willingness to mentor junior team members
A genuine interest in building a career in public law
