Qualified Carpenters – Darwin

Key Tasks and Responsibilities
* Supervise and carry out works and safety programs to ensure projects are delivered to a high standard and within required timeframes
* Plan, prioritise, and manage workloads to ensure structured work programs are followed
* Liaise with senior staff to ensure work schedules are met
* Communicate and coordinate with subcontractors and onsite personnel
* Represent CBS NT professionally at meetings and on-site at all times
* Interpret plans and specifications to determine dimensions, materials, and installation methods
* Maintain accurate project and site records
* Work collaboratively as part of a team to achieve project outcomes
* Perform additional duties as required
Essential Criteria
* Construction Induction Certificate (White Card)
* Relevant trade qualifications and/or proven carpentry experience
* Experience working in a similar construction environment
* Demonstrated ability to manage projects in line with specifications, budgets, and timeframes
* Ability to oversee and direct staff to achieve required outcomes
* Strong commitment to workplace safety and ability to implement safety management systems
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
* Proven reliability and punctuality
* Ability to follow detailed written and verbal instructions
* Well-developed written and verbal communication skills
* Current NT Driver's Licence
* Ochre Card (Working With Children) or willingness to obtain
