There are permanent part-time (64 hours per fortnight) positions for a better work-life balance. ABOUT THE POSITION The successful candidates will be joining a fantastic Surgical Ward consisting of Orthopaedics, Urology, Gynaecology, ENT, General Surgery, Medical and Rehabilitation, including the use of Robotics. Reporting to the Nurse Unit Manager, you will perform duties with the support and guidance of the Department Manager, Clinical Nurse, Team and Shift Leaders to ensure a high level of quality patient care is delivered in line with the care values and strategic direction of the Hospital. CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS Current nursing registration with AHPRA; Minimum two (2) years in a hospital nursing role essential; Previous experience working on a surgical ward; Demonstrate the ability to assess, plan, coordinate and evaluate care delivery needs of patient; Exhibits exceptional customer service and time management abilities; Capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment while maintaining positive working relationships with others; Proven ability to work effectively in a team and independently as required.
