The Role

The position of Administration Support for the South West Parkinson's Nurse Specialists reports directly to the Clinic Lead and works in close collaboration with the South West PNS team and the Head Office Business Support person.

This role is responsible for end‐to‐end clinical support activities that provide a structured framework for managing initiatives related to client care.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

* Maintaining all client records and files
* Managing client‐related data
* Processing referral letters and coordinating follow‐up appointments
* Supporting reporting requirements and surveys
* Providing assistance to the Head Office Administration team when required

Additionally, the role will:

* Make bookings for clients and manage diaries of the SW PNS
* Type medical correspondence
* Set up for support groups and other meetings
* Set up for client appointments in Lotteries House
* Undertake general office/administrative functions
* Provide support for seminar venue bookings, catering and general planning
Selection Criteria
* Minimum of 3 years' experience in a medical receptionist/secretary role
* Demonstrated ability to work autonomously as well as in a multi‐disciplinary team, coordinating and prioritising work under pressure and organising time effectively to meet deadlines
* Demonstrated ability to 'think outside the square'
* Good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with different members of the multi‐disciplinary team (internally) and adapt the style and approach for a variety of external stakeholders
* Experience with CRM (Customer Relationship Management) management or clinical software
* Ability to adapt to change and to learn new procedures quickly; well organised, passionate and self‐motivated
* Excellent time management and organisational skills
* Reliability with a strong work ethic
* Exceptional customer service skills with strong interpersonal and communication abilities
* Experience in a similar role, particularly in the profit‐for‐purpose sector
* Certificate/diploma studies in administration
