We're looking for a passionate and skilled Chef to join our dynamic team at Black Gold Café, a well-loved Richmond spot known for specialty coffee, modern brunch, and fresh, seasonal food.
About the role:
* Prepare and execute our brunch and café menu to a high standard
* Work closely with the Head Chef and kitchen team to ensure consistency and quality
* Maintain a clean, organised and safe kitchen environment
* Assist with menu development and daily specials
* Manage stock rotation, ordering and minimising waste
What we're looking for:
* Previous experience as a Chef in a café, bistro or casual dining environment
* Strong knowledge of modern Australian café food and seasonal produce
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills
* Reliability, punctuality and a positive attitude
* Flexibility to work weekends (our peak trade)
