Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role as a Project Engineer based in Sydney, NSW. The Project Engineer will be responsible for managing and overseeing the planning, installations, and supporting of POS system onboarding projects. Daily tasks include conducting onsite/remote installations, providing day-to-day technical support and collaborating with cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate needs to have the ownership to onboard a customer from installations to provide daily technical questions and provide input back to R&D for continuous system improvement.
Qualifications
* Strong skills in Project Engineering, Project Management, and Project Planning, with the ability to execute and oversee technical projects effectively.
* Experience with POS systems installation and support.
* Strong knowledge of networking, peripherals, and troubleshooting.
* Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
* Strong communication and customer service abilities.
* Ability to manage multiple projects and support tasks simultaneously.
* Experience with remote support tools and ticketing systems.
* Ability to travel to customer sites when required.
* Detail-oriented team player with strong problem-solving skills and a results-driven mindset.
* Bachelor's degree in IT/Engineering, or a related field required; relevant professional certifications are advantageous.
